Jodi advanced at DeWalt and eventually ran the manufacturing operations for several years. When she acquired all of the necessary power tools for her renovations, Jodi retired from DeWalt to pursue renovations full time.

After growing up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduating from Johns Hopkins with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jodi Asadourian migrated to Nashville, TN to work as an engineer in manufacturing for DeWalt. Working for DeWalt matched the Yankee transplant’s desire for power tools as Jodi and her husband dug into gutting and renovating their 1930’s Tudor.
Seven months pregnant with her first child, Jodi gutted her kitchen and rebuilt it just in time to enjoy one day of rest before her son Sark entered the world. Okay, the kitchen wasn’t totally done, but it was functional.
Then Sasha, a fireball of energy, was born. Weren't girls supposed to be easier?

Searching for a creative outlet and respite from the chaos of motherhood, Jodi has found solace in the solitude of screenwriting. Intrigued by the dynamics of intergenerational relationships, Jodi writes character driven stories inspired by the characters and circumstances of her life.
